Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) is the umbrella organisation set up to facilitate mutual recognition between Health & Safety assessment schemes wherever it is practicable to do so.

There are over 40 SSIP registered member schemes currently and the Deemed to Satisfy arrangement means that a company is only required to undergo a full Health & Safety assessment with one scheme. Other schemes will then offer registration recognising that the required standard has already been achieved.

As their Competent Person, for many of our clients in both construction and non-construction, employ us to assist in the compilation of their annual SSIP renewal paperwork. This entails a review of their H&S documentation and systems and the progress made in the last 12 months. We then facilitate the completion of application forms and assist with accreditation process.

We have maintained a 100% client pass rate to date for CHAS, SMAS, Constructionline and Safe Contractor applications.
